Now i was actually gonna wait until my excursion from overseas to post this blog, but numerous research and reading has gotten me interested in the subject. It's titled the U-Curve theory. Destined to experience this phenomenon, it's related to the subject of culture shock, once you've chartered the destination of a different culture. I was told that once you experience a different culture, you go through the process of adaptation and relation. In the U-Curve theory, you start off excited about the trip to a different country/ culture. But that excitement soon diminishes due to home sickness and lack of knowledge of other cultures.
